Sunshine is not the only factor

Spain has excellent sunshine almost everywhere. The real limit is grid capacity, since many nodes are already full of solar.

Gridscouter scores each substation for sunshine, flat land nearby and how much solar is already connected, and suggests a project size in MWp.

The land finder looks for flat or south-facing plots near the substation and excludes protected areas.

Gridscouter scores are estimates from open map data, not grid operator capacity figures. Confirm connection capacity with the grid operator.
