Croatia power grid map: high-voltage lines and substations

Interactive map of Croatia's 400, 220 and 110 kV grid run by HOPS, with around 1,500 substations, solar, wind and data centers.

What the map shows

About 2,660 line sections and 1,500 substations, plus around 1,400 power plants and 13 data centers, from OpenStreetMap.

Who runs the grid

HOPS operates transmission at 400, 220 and 110 kV; HEP ODS runs distribution. Large solar, wind and storage projects in Dalmatia and Slavonia usually connect at 110 kV or above.

Where the opportunities are

Dalmatia has strong sun and wind but a thinner grid; Slavonia has flat land and substations like Ernestinovo at 400 kV. Gridscouter scores are estimates built from open map data, not grid operator capacity figures. Always confirm connection capacity with the grid operator.
