Our take
Denmark joins a clear European pattern: when queues get too long, TSOs stop treating all applications equally. Germany moved to maturity scoring, Flanders relaxed flexible connections, and now Denmark is prioritising by societal category. Batteries sit in an awkward middle — not yet treated as critical infrastructure, but increasingly recognised as part of the solution. Expect more countries to formalise priority rules, and expect 'system-beneficial' batteries to score better over time.
