France grid map: RTE's 225 kV and 400 kV network
Interactive map of about 20,000 high-voltage line sections and 1,000+ substations in France, mostly operated by RTE.
What the map shows
Gridscouter shows France's 400, 225 and 90/63 kV-class lines and substations from OpenStreetMap, colored by voltage. Most belong to RTE; some substations are run by Enedis or SNCF Réseau.
225 kV is the backbone for projects
France uses 225 kV where most countries use 220 kV. Large solar, wind and storage projects usually connect at 225 kV or 63/90 kV, while 400 kV suits very large loads.
How to use it
Click a substation, turn on the connection radius and compare it with your land. Gridscouter scores are estimates from open map data, not grid operator capacity figures. Confirm connection capacity with the grid operator.
